Manta Scuba opened its doors to divers ten years ago in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico as an adventure dive shop, dedicated to exploration of the incredible underwater marine life of the southern Sea of Cortez.

Through the support of our loyal divers Manta now offers more remote and exhilarating dive destinations that ever before. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, Manta offers dive training and certification courses for beginners through to Go Pro Internships, set in the spectacular marine environment of Los Cabos.

Manta Scuba is located at the Cabo San Lucas Marina, on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, Mexico, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. The dramatic desert landscape and beautiful seas create a unique contrast of unspoiled beauty.

At Manta we customize our service to your dive vacation plans. If you are a new diver, novice or expert we can arrange dive sites and profiles appropriate for your level of training and experience. Our Dive Service has been tailored to ensure that from the moment you check in you will feel welcome. Just relax and enjoy diving with new friends, sharing the spectacular scenery above and below the water.

Our Dive Service is provided by experienced PADI Divemasters and Instructors who ensure safe and fun diving. We love exploring our fantastic local dive sites, as the seasons change there are always new and exciting things to find.

Our experienced PADI staff closely guide your dive training courses and while embarked on full day scuba expeditions to our remote area destinations like Gordo Banks, Los Frailes and Cabo Pulmo. With four dive boats from 38 to 26 feet, we offer private charter trips for your family or dive group starting at only $200 in additional fees.

Manta is a modern PADI DIVE SHOP located seconds from the famous Cabo San Lucas Marina where our dive boats dock. Our two level scuba center is stocked with over 30 sets of Cressi Sub and Aqualung equipment, over 100 aluminium cylinders all properly inspected and our air is tested and certified by Trace Analytics in the USA. There are mens and womens changing rooms with showers, and personal lockers for your dive gear.

Manta has built a training pool inside the dive center on the second floor. Unique in Cabo San Lucas, having a pool inside the dive center allows beginning divers a comfortable first experience.

Our diving trips include the most exciting dive sites in the southern Sea of Cortez, suitable for new divers to advanced diving pros. Come explore such areas as Cabo Pulmo and Los Frailes, Gordo Banks, East Cape, and the local dive areas of Los Cabos which includes the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, and the Corridor.
