Discover the magnificent underwater landscape as well as the hundreds of species of marine life which will make this an unforgettable diving in cabo experience. The place that Jacques Cousteau discovered and later named, ‘The Underwater Aquarium of the World…’ This dive site is a must-do in Los Cabos and an unforgettable experience.
Enormous underwater cliffs that go 300-600ft down to depths, Sand Falls at Pelican Rock and playful sea lions are all part of this amazing trip, and to top it off a huge variety of marine animals from tropical fish to eels, lobsters, rays and small nudibranchs; All of these together will have you planning your next trip to Cabo before stepping off the boat.
Inside the protection of the Bay the conditions are great for diving with rarely any currents and typically good visibility. These are great sites to try diving for the first time with Discover Scuba Diving, to continue with the PADI advanced training or just to do fun dives.
Local sites are a five minute boat ride away, so those who don’t enjoy long trips will enjoy the short cruise. The eastern side of the bay was declared a National Marine Park in 1973, one of the first in Mexico. Over the years the abundance of marine life has grown from this protection, and today the healthy reef system is impressive.
“Fantastic dive experience!”
I just spent 5 days diving in cabo with Manta Scuba. I was very impressed with the entire staff! The dive shop was clean and organized. The Staff was very friendly and bent over backwards to make sure I had a great experience. I had a wonderful time diving with Ginger and Kevin Q! The Whale Shark and Sea Lion dive in la Paz was off the hook! Highly recommend this experience! I dove 4 days with Kevin Q and each day and each dive was a new experience even when diving in the same area! Captain Flash on the Manta was fantastic and entertaining! Thank you Kiki (manager) and the entire staff of Manta Scuba! I will be back and I’m going to recommend you to everyone coming to Cabo for diving!
“Fantastic dive with some excellent guiding!”
We selected Manta Scuba Diving after doing a lot of research and even contacting some previous clients and I’m ever glad we did! These guys were just fantastic. My husband and I have done a fair bit of diving over the years so we can’t really comment on basic instruction they provided but the gear was great, their staff was solo friendly, but what really impressed us was their planning. Our Captain conversed with the Dive Masters as we were leaving the marina and decided to run a different route as we headed out. They actually ran us through to the primary dive points opposite everyone else’s route. That gave us complete and utter privacy at places like Land’s End where we dove for nearly 40 minutes all alone WITH the sea lions. They rolled into the water shortly after we did and swam with us for the longest time before we even heard another boat approaching. They crew really seemed interested in making sure we had a memorable time. I loved that they were right at the Marina – no long car or van rides just a quick change of clothes and a short walk to the boat. When we returned, the guys at the shop gave us directions on some of the more popular pubs and restaurants within walking distance. It made for the perfect end to an amazing day! I would definitely dive with Manta again, thanks so much.
“Awesome dive shop”
A few friends and I came down here for a long weekend and dove with Manta Scuba every day. Ginger was our dive master for every trip (we requested her after the first) and she was awesome. We had some incredible dives; we saw a white tip reef shark, a school of mobula rays, a few spotted eagle rays, and swam with sea lions! Everybody we interacted with was very professional and helpful, and the dive site recommendations were great. Highly recommended!
