What is a 3 Tanks Combo?
Our Three Tank Combo allows you to explore two of the most magnificent diving areas in Cabo San Lucas in merely half a day.
Ideal for divers and families who have limited time for scuba diving, this one of a kind tour provides a well-rounded experience of the essence of Cabo diving, as it includes visiting two most different scenery diving sight. One is local – Cabo Marine Reserve, also called Land’s End, and the other is located further east, and well known as – The Corridor.
By choosing Manta’s Three Tank Combo, you can save precious traveling time to the east cape or La Paz, which makes this tour the best value for money and time.
Our PADI certified Divemasters would lead this special tour in small groups, using our well shaded, fully equipped, and custom-made dive boats. Choosing the specific sights in those two major areas will be made together with you, considering diving conditions and level of divers. This will make a perfect morning trip, including diving in two very different locations, together with a beautiful boat ride to see the marvelous coast away from Cabo San Lucas.
Two areas explored:
The Cabo Marine Reserve – scuba diving Cabo San Lucas
A short 5 to 10 minutes boat ride away, you will discover spectacular underwater landscapes such as sand falls at Neptune’s Finger and Pelican Rock, as well as hundreds of species of marine life, which will make this an unforgettable scuba diving Cabo San Lucas experience.
At the very tip of baja we have a wonderful dive site called The Point, it the the last rock of Baja, we dive from one side at the Sea of Cortez and end up in the other side – the Pacific, in this site we have many great things, small cave, canyon, sea lions, big pieces of wreck, huge eels, lots of fish and some times even huge bait ball of fish chased by the sea lions and the tunas.
Above sea level this area is famously called Land’s End: As we cruise towards our diving destination, you will be able to see Lover’s Beach, the Sea Lion’s Colony, the famous arch, and the dramatic meeting point of the Sea of Cortez with the great wide Pacific Ocean.
The Corridor – scuba diving the Corridor
The Corridor is located a scenic 25-40 minute boat ride east of the harbor.
It includes some of our favorite diving sites with very few other dive boats in the area.
The rocky reef formations, massive boulders, and soft corals offer different dive profiles than those found in the Marine Reserve. This area also provides good opportunities for encountering schooling rays.
The Corridor is a bit quieter in terms of boat traffic, during the Whale migration season, you will be able to hear them singing while you are diving.
The Perfect Dive Shop”
Manta is one of the most well-run dive shops I have visited. The level of organization is very high and they put the customer experience first. During my multi-day stay they made me feel like a VIP/family. The boats are never crowded and they will try to accommodate any dive requests you may have (special sites, varying experience levels, etc). The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and professional. The owner Kiki keeps everything running smoothly. I’ve had the pleasure of diving with most of the instructors (Edgar, both Kevins, Antonio, Jay, Ginger – to name a few) and they are all very knowledgable and make the dives memorable. The captains, Sumo and Flash, are very friendly and help with equipment and anything else you need on the boat. And all of the women at the front desk make booking/planning etc. a hassle-free experience. I give Manta 6 out of 5 stars!!
Nice day doing Combo dives with Manta Scuba!”
We dove one day with Manta Scuba – doing Pelican Rock and the corridor dives. It was very nice. Dive guide Kevin was great and we had lots of fun with Sumo, our captain. It was a bit cold and vis was just okay, but we saw cool things we hadn’t seen before like schooling eagle rays. Had a good time with our fellow divers and great views of the Arch, etc.
