Our dive adventures to Cabo San Lucas and Cabo Pulmo
were all the better because Pam and I chose to go with Manta. Before
leaving for Mexico, I had checked your website first. I was impressed
with the testimonials and the very reasonable dive packages. Also,
we were fortunate to find your store right near the beach just a
few minutes from our timeshare!

I would love to visit Cabo San Lucas in October or November when

I would like to compliment you on your dive operation.
I was impressed with several things. Firstly, before we even got
there, was your willingness to work out a fair price on Paulette's
upgrading her OW certification. No other dive operator I contacted
prior to our trip did that. Your staff provided excellent service
and acted in a hospitable and professional manner. I've already
passed on Paulette's compliments to Rodrigo, which was that he was
a good teacher. Coming from a retired teacher of 30 years, that
says something, I think. Kiki, of course, was a blast and I thoroughly
enjoyed his company and sense of humor, besides his being an excellent
guide. Master too, was very personable and a great boat captain.
Rodrigo has a great sense of humor as well. You have a great staff
there. Luis was also very good on the Cabo Pulmo trip (he led our
group), and was very helpful, and even retrieved Paulette's mask
when she dropped it at the side of the boat at the end of the dive.
I was impressed with the emphasis on safety, specifically,
that you followed correct procedure in bringing the oxygen tank
on the Sea Lion trip. While one never expects an emergency situation,
especially diving in shallow, warm water, things happen sometimes,
and bringing oxygen is "by the book" on such an isolated
expedition. The other "safety situation" I was impressed
with was that when Kiki and I did the deep dive, Master hung a tank
at 20 feet (also the correct procedure). This, believe it or not,
is the first time that a dive operator I have been with on deep
dives, has followed the correct, safe diving practice in hanging
a tank at 20 feet.
The other two notable things were that your staff
varied the local and corridor sites throughout the week, keeping
in mind the people who were diving with you all week (not every
dive shop does that), and two, you were willing to put a boat and
a divemaster out there for a one-diver night dive, when it's normally
a two diver minimum. And, of course, it was a top notch night dive
to finish up my diving with.
We will certainly recommend Manta to anyone we know
who is going to the
Cabo area, and of course, if we're down there ourselves again, we'll
be looking you up.
Thanks to you, Kiki, Rodrigo and Master for helping
to make our diving in
Cabo both relaxing and enjoyable.
