EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE

Primary, Secondary and Care for Children Instructor - $250

Emergency First Response or EFR is a corporate affiliate of the PADI organization whose courses teach entry level emergency skills. While this is not a diving emergency specific set of skills, these courses do fulfill the Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor Course prerequisites.

Becoming an EFR Instructor will allow you to teach CPR and First Aid skills for adults, children and infants that fulfills many requirements outside of diving as well. EFR and its worldwide offices have worked with governments to ensure that EFR courses are recognized for workplace training, for licensing and for professionals that require current CPR certification.

PADI Digital Underwater Photography Instructor - $225

The exponential growth of divers taking photos underwater has led to all quality camera manufacturers now building underwater housings for their camera lines and DUP becoming increasingly popular. The ease of taking digital photos does not equate skills necessary for good photos and this is where training as a DUP Instructor comes in.

Learn how to take photos underwater in an environmentally responsible manner, and how to teach others as well. The variety and abundance of marine life around Cabo San Lucas makes this an ideal location to learn how to teach underwater photography.

PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor - $195

Teach skills specific to diving emergencies to your Rescue and Divemaster course students. The Divemaster Internship at Manta Scuba includes O2 certification, ensuring competence and certification dealing with potential decompression sickness and lung over-expansion injuries.

This is a certification many employers are looking for, as you can teach students, boat captains and shop staff this very important medical response set of skills.

PADI Enriched Air - NITROX Instructor - $225

Diving with mixed gases has become a mainstream activity in recreational diving, Enriched Air certifications regularly topping the list of most popular courses taught around the world each year. Training as a NITROX Instructor will increase your knowledge of mixed gas diving and training to your students to be Enriched Air Divers is a great option to be able to offer potential employers.

Enjoy the benefits of diving with mixed gases and join us to dive with the schools of Hammerheads at Gordo Banks. NITROX Instructor students recieve a special price combining this trip with their course dives!

Being an Enriched Air Instructor is one of the prerequisites for DSAT TEC Instructor training.

PADI Deep Diver Instructor - $195

There are an abundance of deep walls, wrecks and reef systems that divers want to explore. Combine this with the new PADI Divemaster course that emphasizes deep diving skills (and includes the Deep Diver Specialty at Manta Scuba) and the highly popular Deep Diver course is only going to increase in popularity.

Learn to dive to the limits of recreational scuba along the deep walls and see the 'sand falls' that are a unique underwater topographical feature in Cabo. You will also expand knowledge of decompression theory, learn emergency decompression skills and how to plan safe and fun deep dives with your students.

Being a Deep Dive Instructor is one of the prerequisites for DSAT TEC Instructor training.

DSAT Gas Blender Instructor - $250

Learn about a variety of blending techniques, for mixed gas diving, both recreational and TEC. Expand your skills to include; cleaning and set up of equipment for 100% Oxygen service, proper blending techniques using partial pressure and the DSAT Gas Mix Calculator software.

This certification is also very important to you as a working professional, knowing how to safely and accurately mix gases for a diving operation is an asset dive shops look for in their Pro Staff.
