SCUBA TRAINING WITH MANTA IN CABO SAN LUCAS - MEXICO

Manta Scuba offers all the PADI training options so you can improve your diving experiences, skills and fun and knowledge. These are very practical application oriented courses, not classroom style learning. Below you can read about dive training beyond PADI Open Water Diver.

All course participants are required to fill out a divers medical form prior to any in water training. You can click here to download the form. If you answer YES to any of the medical questions, print it out and take it to your doctor to get clearance before coming to Cabo San Lucas.

SCUBA REVIEW PROGRAM- $157 US - includes two local dives and equipment

For certified divers that have not been active in six months or more, we can easily refresh your dive skills with the Scuba Review program. A quick review of key concepts with one of our Dive Pros, a skills review and then off for one dive.

We run these refreshers on demand, typically a couple times a week with participants always remarking how they enjoyed; increased confidence, better buoyancy and longer dives than they were used to by having up to date dive skills.

This is also a great idea for entry level divers interested in beginning the PADI Advanced Open Water course and Specialties.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (eLearning) - $120 to PADI - $295 to Manta

Cabo San Lucas has some great dive sites to advance your scuba skills, enjoy your diving more and learn to dive in more diverse conditions. During the Advanced course you will do 5 dives; a deep dive to 100 feet to experience how to manage nitrogen narcosis, improve your navigation skills on another dive and find out what diving at during the night is like.

This is a very popular and fun course. The majority of your time will be spent diving and trying out new diving techniques, skills and exploring new environments. There are optional dives that you can chose what specialty diving areas interest you. Choices include; photography, drift diving, peak performance buoyancy, naturalist, Fish ID and more.

PADI ENRICHED AIR NITROX eLEARNING - $195 to PADI

Manta Scuba staff are qualifed DSAT NITROX Gas Blenders, so you know your tanks are being filled by qualified professionals.

PADI DIGITAL UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER - $245

This PADI course teaches the fundamentals of successfully taking GOOD photos underwater in a safe, environmentally sensitive manner. The course fees include; instruction, equipment preparation, two dives with your instructor, camera rental, certification and a photo CD.

This course is very practical, hands on learning while diving and shooting loads of pictures. At the end of the course you will leave with underwater photography skills to use on future dives and a CD/DVD of your dive photos from the Sea of Cortez.

PADI Rescue Diver and EFR CPR plus First Aid - $120 to PADI - $400 to Manta

Start down the path to PADI Divemaster or Master Scuba Diver by learning to direct your attention to those you are diving with. During the Rescue Diver course you will learn the techniques to avoid, respond and manage diving emergencies. While it is challenging, new Rescue Divers enjoy the elevated level of confidence they have after completing this course.

The Rescue Diver course includes Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) training. This one day course is a prerequisite, if you have current medical certification please contact us for details.
