LOCAL
DIVING, CABO SAN LUCAS
Known for its amount and variety of marine life, the Sea of Cortez is an awesome place for diving. There are hundreds of species of fish, rays, sea lions and pelagics. Our local diving sites are located in the bay of Cabo San Lucas in the Sea of Cortez. The sites are 10 minutes boat ride from the beach. All the sites are located next to edge of the rocks and are great for beginners as well as experienced divers.
Pelican
Rock & The Sand Falls
We'll dive next to walls and slopes covered
with seafans. There are tropical fish everywhere, schools of mexican
goat fish, eels, angelfish, parrotfish, lobsters, spotted box fish and
puffers. We'll see frogfish and sometimes schools of jacks and rays passing
by. In this dive we'll pass above the famous sand falls.
Neptune's
Finger
In this dive we'll swim next to huge boulders covered with seafans. Sponges
and gorgonias, tropical fish, eels, guitarfish, sometimes stingrays and
mobule rays as well as turtles passing by.
The
Point or 'Land’s End'
In this great trip we'll dive next to the most southern rock
of Bajasouth from here is nothing but sea… We'll dive with
our playful sea lions just next to the colony. When the sea is calm,
we'll enter a canyon were they like to play and hang out. We'll see lots
of fish, eels, angelfish, parrotfish, garden eels, spotted box fish puffers,
giant hawkfish and barberfish. Sometimes we see schools of jacks, tunas,
barracudas, herrings, and turtles passing by.

North
Wall
The North Wall is a great dive for beginners and resort course/introductory
divers as well as for more experienced divers. This rock-covered slope
makes a great home for eels, puffers, lobsters and tropical fish. Sometimes
we see diamond- and bullseye stingrays. We might also meet our local
whitetip reef shark.

The
Corridor
Just northeast of Cabo San Lucas, lies the area known as the “Corridor”
that contains many great diving spots (some well-known and some
are “our little secret”).
Here are a few of the well-known ones: Whales Head, Santa Maria, Blow Hole, Chileno, Twin Dolphin, Gavilan.
Dives at these sites can go from deep to very shallow. You'll see unique and amazing rock formations, gigantic boulders, underwater canyons, colorful schools of tropical fish, and occasionally turtles and rays.
