If you already started your dive training close to home, or just didn’t finish your Open Water course, this is your choice to complete the Open Water Diver certification.
The Referral Course is a part of the Open Water Diver course: it is recommended to first read the Open Water Diver Course page for complete details.
This course provides the option to start the Scuba training close to home in a pool (with PADI or other dive organizations). Develop your knowledge and Scuba skills in the weekends. When you are ready (up to 6 months later) come to Cabo and complete your training by doing the 4 Open Water Dives. In these dives you will demonstrate mastering the skills practiced in the pool, and in the remaining time underwater explore the beautiful dive sites at Cabo San Lucas bay.
"Review for Open water dives"
The staff at Manta Scuba is well trained, very welcoming and makes the overall experience very cool. My diving instructor Brendan is as good as they can get. Over a period of 4 dives, I could notice a tremendous improvement in my ocean diving/swimming skills. Brendan is patient with his students, teaches them different skills very well, and leads the divers to amazing view points under water. Couldn't have asked for a better start to the Scuba Diving sport. Trip Advisor, Manta's page
"Best dive shop"
This is a fantastic dive shop. I flew down to complete an open water referral certification. I wasn't sure if I would like diving but ended up diving with Manta every single day. The office staff (Kiki, Becky, Natalia, Aaron) are really helpful. The boat captains masterful (Jaime, Flash, Sumo), and I had great guides (Kevin, Chewie, Ginger). Everyone is really friendly, very helpful, and all staff speak very good English. Good emphasis on safety and enjoyment. The local dives are fantastic and only 5 minutes away. Great boats, great equipment, great people. Great place for beginners and experts. Visited November 2016, Trip Advisor, Manta's page
