MANTAS DIVE BOATS and PRIVATE GROUP CHARTERS

MANTA SCUBA owns and operates four certified dive boats in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This allows us to customize your scuba experience while visiting us in the Los Cabos region of Baja. Options for private trips as 'Captain for the Day' are great solutions for family, groups, dive clubs, Yachts and Mega Yachts.

All four boats are regularly inspected by Mexican Port Authority and registered with the proper authorities. As we are a certified PADI Dive Resort we also follow all established operator guidelines and have; PFD's, redundant VHF radio/cell communication systems, proper ladders, fire extinguishers, dive flags, drinking water onboard, medical first aid kits and oxygen.

PRIVATE DIVE OR SNORKEL CHARTERS START AT ONLY $200

Prices for private dive charter services start at $200 plus the normal fees for what you and your group wish to do on the trip. For instance; a group of 4 divers who want a private two tank dive tour in the Los Cabos region would pay 4 X $85 (normal dive fees) + $200 (charter fee) = $540, this is only $135 per person for a private boat and guide!

Dive charter fees include; Captain, Divemaster, tanks, weights, bottled drinking water and fuel. Additional fees to consider would include; gear rental is $25 per person, NITROX fills are $10 per tank and additional fees for PADI Instruction.

Below you will find photos and descriptions of each boat owned by MANTA SCUBA. There are guidelines for appropriate group sizes for each boat. We also book private snorkel trips to the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park and the Chileno Bay/Santa Maria areas. Please contact us for a specific quote on your planned dates, group size and destination.

While the Los Cabos region is blessed with great weather, trips are subject to change at the discretion of management. Trips to Gordo Banks require advanced certification or equivalent and current dive experience.

MANTITA

Our coziest boat is the 26ft MANTITA. Powered by brand new 200hp Yamaha, it's the fastest dive boat in the region and can comfortably fit groups of up to 6 divers, ... It's an excellent boat for small groups and families. Divers heading to Gordo Banks will appreciate the short travel time.

MANTA

For a larger family or medium size group the MANTA is a great boat. Customized for diving and easy access for snorkelers as well, this 28ft boat has lots of shade, dry storage, and a lot of space to relax. We can comfortably fit groups of up to 8 divers, 2 divemasters and a captain onboard the MANTA. It's powered by 115hp Yamaha outboard engine for a safe and fast ride.

MANTA 1

Our second largest boat, MANTA 1, is a 35ft custom-made dive boat powered by a 250hp Suzuki engine. It has ample shade, lots of dry storage, a toilet and two entrances to the water—one back roll and one giant stride. It carries a maximum of 10 divers and 2-3 guides.
