WHALESHARK ENCOUNTERS

Snorkeling with Whalesharks is one of the worlds most amazing wildlife experiences. The trip is open to divers and snorkelers alike, so just about anyone can join our trip from Cabo San Lucas up the coast to the bay of La Paz. This is a great trip for our week long dive guests who need a day to eliminate nitrogen before flying home. Enjoy an up close encounter with the 'Gentle Giant' of the shark world.

WALESHARK SNORKEL TOUR

The La Paz Whale shark tour is a full day snorkeling expedition that offers an opportunity for our guests in Cabo San Lucas to enjoy a day swimming with Whale sharks.

The day begins 6:45am at Manta dive shop with a briefing for the day and final arrangements.

Trip time to La Paz is approximately 2 hours with a stop for a light breakfast en route. When we arrive in La Paz our boat captain meets our snorkelers and we get a briefing for interaction guidelines to ensure a safe and lengthy encounter with the sharks.

We spend approximately 2-3 hours in the bay of La Paz, typically with numerous whale sharks and occasionally we even get to swim with manta rays and sea lions as well. We follow the tour guidelines for responsible interaction with the whale sharks.
After 3 hours of unforgettable close encounters, we cruise back to the La Paz boardwalk and then go for lunch.

What a great day - one you are not likely to forget in a long time! Return time to the Manta dive center is about 4:30 - 5pm. We love this tour and highly recommend it !
