MANTA is entering its tenth year of taking divers on underwater explorations of the southern Sea of Cortez. Family owned and staffed by long term PADI professionals who love their jobs, we like to get to know our customers and enjoy the many returning faces, year after year. Our staff take pride in offerring great diving expeditions in small groups, quality scuba training and private trips to the beautiful, natural settings in the Los Cabos region of Mexico.
The staff at Manta Scuba love living in Baja California and diving the Sea of Cortez. We hope you'll allow us to share the beauty of this paradise and some of its remote sites with you.

KIKI
PADI Divemaster
A very experienced and knowledgable guide, Kiki is patient and always shows our divers a great time.
MARC
PADI IDC Staff Instructor
Another veteran here at Manta, Marc is from France. He is very experienced and professional and also enjoys free diving.
SUMO
Boat Captain
Sumo is known for his professionalism, friendly attitude,
and big smile. He helps keep Mantas many boats and compressors in tip top shape.
JAIME
Boat Captain
Captain of the MANTA 1, Jaime is an attentive and skilled captain. Jaime is a favorite of our divers, always there to help, a great team worker with a friendly and happy attitude.
GAZ
PADI IDC Staff Instructor
Gaz is originally from England, but came to Manta from Belize. He has tremendous experience as an instructor and has been involved in Marine Conservation projects as well.
FEDE
PADI OW Scuba Instructor
Fede has just joined Manta's great group of instructors. He comes from Spain by way of Utila and is always ready to teach and guide.

Hagai came back to Manta for the 4th season with us.

I came to Baja for the first time 12 years ago and was captured by
the beauty of the desert of Baja California and the Sea of Cortez.
I love the Sea of Cortez not just as an instructor and dive operator
but as a diver. It’s a remote paradise for SCUBA divers of
all levels.
